What we collect

Your email address and account details.

What you write and upload in your conversations with Dave, including files and images.

The plans, documents and code made for your projects, and the data your app stores once it's running.

Basic usage information, such as which pages you visit.

Why we use it

To hold the conversation, write your plan and quote, build and host your app, keep the service secure, and work out what each project costs us to run.

Who else handles it

We use service providers to do this: AI model providers to run the conversation and write code, cloud workspaces to build your app, a code hosting service to store your project's code, a database provider for accounts and app databases, a hosting provider to run apps, a website analytics service, and a payment processor when you pay.

Some of these providers store information outside Australia, including in the United States.

What we don't do

We don't sell your information.

How long we keep it

For as long as your account is open. When you delete a project, we remove its running app, its database and its workspace. You can ask us to delete anything that remains.

You can ask to see, correct or delete your information by emailing help@davethebest.com.
